ART STUDIOS BURSARY
PROTOCOL
 Resource:
These bursaries are to help defray the cost of art supplies for consumers. A bursary can be used also to take an art course elsewhere as long as the chosen course or its equivalent is not offered at the Art Studios.
Eligibility:
- must be a member of the Art Studios for at least one month
- must have taken at least one course at the Art Studios
- must be currently involved with Art Studios activities within the last 4 months
- each applicant is allowed only one bursary in a fiscal year
- each applicant’s bursary is given in only one check
 Process:
- application forms are always available at the Art Studios
- application forms must be filled out and either left at the Art Studios or given directly to the Project Manager
- after application form has been approved, original receipts for art expenses purchased must be submitted to the Art Studios or directly to the Project Manager
- the Project Manager registers name of applicant and amount of disbursement
- the Project Manager then submits receipts and the filled in Receipt Form to Consumer Support Office
- the Project Manager keeps the Application forms for his/her records
- a check is requisitioned in applicant’s name and sent to the head office for pick/up
- the Project Manager facilitates check pick/up
