Evergreen Project
This program provides people with lived experience of mental illness who live in northeast Vancouver the opportunity for friendship, outings, and special events. Participants are encouraged towards recovery in their own unique way and at their own pace while in a socially supportive atmosphere. You would be among your own peers. Our activities are offered outside of mental health facilities to foster self-esteem, independence, and self-motivation. We recognize that isolation and marginalization are the realities faced within the mental health community. We sincerely hope that this project addresses the need for social connection.
