bc211 new text messaging access to resources
bc211 launched a text message service in February 2015. Its purpose is to provide residents of the Lower Mainland access to free information and referrals for community, government and social services.
There is a focus on youth to try to embrace new technologies many youth have access to. However everyone is welcome to use the service.
By texting 2-1-1, you can contact the referral services of bc211.
bc211 works to connect people with community government and social services. bc211 can also be contacted by phoning 211 in British Columbia.
