A couple of years ago I lost a good friend and talented musician/producer, Todd Simko, to his battle with depression. Todd worked with many talented musicians so and a very successful fundraiser and memorial concert “Change of Frequency” was held last year in New Westminster that raised funds for CMHA. At this event a passionate message was delivered about the need to reduce the stigma associated with depression.
This year the 2nd annual “Change of Frequency” event will be held at Chapel Arts in Strathcona.
My band is very honored to be part of the show. There are 8 bands, show starts early, and all the $ goes to CMHA. Last year it was a very all ages show with many youth and families attending. It should be a fabulous night. The bands play around 20 minutes each, so there will be a lot of variety. The venue is awesome, Chapel Arts and I’ve included more info details below. Hope you can come out! We’re on early in the evening!!
