New Family Involvement Policy!

Yes!  We have a new Family Involvement Policy!  It took quite a few years to get there, but we finally have it.  It’s attached – have a look through it.  The most salient part is that family is seen and recognized as a vital part of recovery, and that the most important family members are part of the circle care. This makes it possible for health professionals to discuss clients with supporting family members. We are now working on making sure that everyone across the Vancouver Coastal Health region understands and acts according to the policy.
