From our Partners

NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action’s ParNorth Research Group invites peer supporters from across Canada to take part in a research project aimed at learning more about the work of peer supporters both within and outside of mainstream mental health services in Canada. This project follows initial research done in 2012 on the role of peer support workers in northeast Ontario. This research is conducted by Dr. Karen Rebeiro Gruhl (Laurentian University) and Martin Boucher and Sara Lacarte of NISA.

Peer Supporters interested in participating will be asked to compete a survey once every five years.
