2014 Virtual Suicide Prevention Conference
Conversations about Community, Collaboration, and Hope”
November 19-21, 2014
This year the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) in partnership with the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP) will host a virtual conference on suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention. The “Connecting Canada” virtual conference is being built on the themes of Community, Collaboration, and Hope. During the conference, we will showcase innovative approaches to suicide prevention, intervention and postvention in different communities, discuss initiatives that promote meaningful collaboration and explore the meaning and nurturance of hope.
Each day, the virtual conference will begin with a one hour key note address followed by a series of 45-60 minute webinars throughout the rest of the day. Webinars may be presented in either official language. Participants can attend as many or as few of the webinars as they wish.
