Help us make VCH a safe, discrimination-free place for all
Vancouver Coastal Health is committed to being a discrimination-free organization and does not tolerate racism or any form of discrimination against our patients, staff, and medical staff. Now, more than ever, we must stand united and true to our shared values of caring, learning, and striving for better results as it relates to diversity, inclusion and respect.
One of the first steps we are taking to promote diversity, equity and inclusion and to address the complex issue of racism in health care is a public-facing anti-racism poster campaign, and we are looking for opportunities to gather feedback from patients, clients, residents and families on these posters.
Please join us at an upcoming, virtual, 30-minute focus group session to:
· provide input on the poster campaign slogan, tone, impact and overall look
- share other ideas for promoting diversity, equity and inclusion at VCH
If you would like to participate in one of the following sessions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org:
· June 24, 8:30-9am
· June 25, 12-12:30pm
We look forward to working together to ensure VCH is a place where patients, clients, residents, staff, physicians, volunteers and visitors feel safe, welcome and valued.
