Volunteer Receptionist(s) needed at ARA (Vancouver)

Make a real difference by sharing your time with a grassroots service organisation.

ARA Mental Health provides individual advocacy to people who live with mental illness. We help people navigate bureaucracy, secure basic income, find or keep a home, deal with creditors, obtain appropriate health care, and we can help solve a variety of other kinds of problems. ARA is located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and many of the people we serve live in this neighbourhood.

Volunteer receptionists greet visitors, answer phone calls, take messages, schedule appointments, and perform some light cleaning. Training provided. Volunteers must be able to commit to 3.5 hours once per week during business hours on an ongoing basis.
