This is a temporary part-time employee position to cover a leave of absence

We are looking for someone to fill a temporary employee role with the Consumer Involvement and Initiatives team. Our current Coordinator, Peer Led Workshops is on a leave of absence and we are hiring someone to join us while she is off, potentially up to July 2021. This is a peer employee role with VCH; personal experience receiving services within the mental health and substance system is a requirement.
The ideal applicant will have experience coordinating education opportunities and events, supervising, and be familiar with our courses. Demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles is an asset.
The successful applicant will work 2.5-3.0 days a week, Monday – Friday during business hours, some work may be required outside of this schedule but is negotiable. This is an office-based position but some travel to other locations in Vancouver may be required. Our office is located at 200- 520 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver BC. Business travel expenses will be reimbursed, Use of a car is not required.
